service

Occupational Health & Safety

According to the International Labour Organization, more than 7 600 people die from work-related accidents or diseases every single day. That’s why we take occupational health & safety very seriously throughout all aspects of our work, be it at home, at the office or at our client sites.

From the outset, MST have strived to comply with all aspects of Health and Safety as prescribed by the South African Labour Act and the OHS Act and Regulations (85 of 1993). We set out to obtain our Health and Safety Certification under OSHAS 18001, which we achieved during May 2016.

We decided to migrate from OHSAS 18001 to the new ISO 45001 which builds on the success of the earlier OHSAS 18001 international standard as well as various other national standards and the ILO’s international labour standards and conventions.
